SRD Straightening Reins Is
SRD Straightening Reins is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving youth and
family mental health through equine-assisted psychotherapy and supportive community
programs. At our ranch, we create a safe, non-judgmental space where young people
can explore, heal, and grow alongside our rescue herd. Guided by the EAGALA model,
our programs combine professional expertise with the natural connection between
humans and animals, helping participants build resilience, trust, and self-confidence.
SRD is more than therapy. It is a place of hope, education, and belonging, where
families find the tools they need before crisis and the herd reminds us all of the healing
power of relationship.
